The draft regulation on the template of the document "Labour license to practice as a laboratory diagnostician", hereinafter referred to as "PWZDL", constitutes the implementation of the statutory authorization specified in art. 71 sec. 6 of the Act of September 15, 2022 on laboratory medicine.
The draft regulations are intended to prepare a new template of the PWZDL document.
Issuing a regulation based on the authorization contained in art. 71 sec. 6 of the Act of 15 September 2022 on laboratory medicine aims to define a new PWZDL template in the form of a polycarbonate card protected against alteration, counterfeiting and use by an unauthorized person based on modern technologies. The basis for issuing the document will be the resolution of the National Council of Laboratory Diagnosticians confirming or granting the right to practice as a laboratory diagnostician. Therefore, the document will include data on the number and date of this resolution. The PWZDL document also includes a clause that it is the only document that confirms the right to practice the profession of a laboratory diagnostician in the territory of the Republic of Poland. It excludes possible doubts in this respect.
The PWZDL template has a specific graphic layout, colors and parameters, data that ensures maximum protection of the document against counterfeiting and issuing a uniform sounding and looking document for a long period of time, despite the changing technical conditions related to document printing. In addition, PWZDL meets the requirements set out in the Act of 22 November 2018 on public documents (Journal of Laws of 2022, items 1394 and 1415) and has a number of safeguards in accordance with the provisions of this act.
PWZDL documents issued on the basis of the existing regulations will remain valid.
