In the face of the tragedy that happened on Saturday, the protesters decided to change the formula of the activity of the White Town to "Quiet Duty".

"We are doing it fearing for the health and life of visitors and protesters. Those present yesterday at the scene of the tragedy provided immediate professional help to the patient and witnesses of the incident. After it ended, however, we were left without support from the authorities" - we read in a special statement. p>

The protest committee reminds that the idea of the protest on September 11, and then the creation of the White Town, is to demonstrate the need to urgently introduce effective solutions in the public health system, which are necessary for the well-being of its patients and employees. Health is not a political problem, but a fundamental value. The protesters do not want White Town and its tragic events to be used to incite hatred against the protesting health care workers and their supporters.

Changing the formula of the operation of the White Town means further efforts to implement the still valid postulates. "In the face of the tragedy, in the face of the impasse in talks with the government, we remain open to bilateral talks with substantive representatives of the Prime Minister, without conditioning it with personal details" - National Protesting and Strike Committee of Healthcare Workers.
