The RPO Office received a letter regarding access to the flu vaccine. In it, the applicant indicated that there is no information on how to distribute and access one of the flu vaccines.

After vaccinating her 4-year-old child with the first dose, the woman, while waiting for the availability of the second dose of the product, learned that there would be no supply of the vaccine. Despite constant contact with and monitoring of pharmacies, the applicant was unable to purchase the vaccine on the general market. She stressed that in this situation, patients who received the first dose could not continue the vaccination.

Director of the BRPO's Administrative and Economic Law Team Piotr Mierzejewski intervened with the director of the MZ's Department of Drug Policy and Pharmacy, Lukasz Szmulski. He asked him for his position and information on actions taken or planned.
