Doctors are also calling for an orderly pricing of deep brain stimulation therapy services. Both clinicians and patients are also looking forward to the coordinated care pilot announced in the fall.

The debate was attended by:

  • Prof. Jaroslaw Slawek, head of the Neurology and Stroke Unit, St. Adalbert Hospital in Gdansk
  • Prof. Dariusz Koziorowski, head of the Department of Neurology at the WUM Mazovian Brodno Hospital
  • Dr. Daniel Baczynski, medical doctor, representative of the patient community
  • Mariola Lodzinska, vice president of the Supreme Chamber of Nurses and Midwives
  • Wojciech Machajek, vice president of the Brain Disease Foundation
  • Maciej Karaszewski, deputy director of the Department of Health Care Services of the National Health Fund
