The OmeaLife Foundation offers support to breast cancer patients from Ukraine. It consists in helping to continue treatment in Polish cancer centers. By contacting the foundation, patients with breast cancer can count on translation of documents, assistance in registering visits, receiving information on what therapies are available in our country and discussions on how to organize their emotions in such a difficult situation.

"I communicate in Ukrainian, Russian and Polish, so the language barrier is not a problem for me. I try to help patients in the entire logistics, at the same time encouraging them. I also come from Ukraine, so I understand how difficult it is for them to find their place in a foreign country. especially when they need medical help, "says the coordinator of the #OmeaHelp Nataliia Ukhach project.

The coordinator is available from Mon-Fri. from 09:00 to 17:00 at the Breast Cancer Knowledge Center of the OmeaLife Foundation - Aleja Grunwaldzka 53 in Gdańsk and by calling 575 221 137 and email [email protected].

The Foundation received financial support for the employment of a coordinator from the Think Pink Europe organization, which brings together patient organizations caring for breast cancer patients all over Europe. OmeaLife has been its member since 2018, representing Poland.
