Division of tasks
As vice president, Dr. Elzbieta Skorupska will be primarily responsible for issues related to education, the development of guidelines and standards, and research projects.
Agnieszka Krawętkowska, in turn, will cover the areas of professional conditions and systemic changes in health care, health education and health promotion, and KIF IT development.
The responsibility of the current vice-president, Hanna Kowalewska, remains the promotion of physiotherapy and coordination of the Council's activities in the provinces, her scope also included activities within the framework of EU projects and supervision of budget implementation.
The new vice-president, Elzbieta Skorupska, sits on the National Council of Physiotherapists and is actively involved in the community and in the chamber's undertakings, including being vice-chair of the Scientific Committee of the 2nd KIF Congress under the theme "Interdisciplinarity as the future of rehabilitation." She is a member of the NIF's Interdisciplinary Expert Council and vice-chair of the Thematic Team on Science. She is head of the Department of Physiotherapy at the K. Marcinkowski Medical University in Poznan. She is the author of more than 120 scientific papers, among her research interests are methods of objectification of chronic pain and invasive physiotherapy methods. She completed postgraduate studies in invasive methods of physiotherapy at the Universidad Castilla La-Mancha, Toledo, Spain. She is the lead author of a patent with international implementation, which has received numerous awards at international invention and patent fairs around the world.
Within the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Health, she served as vice-chair of the Team for the evaluation of educational standards preparing for the profession of physiotherapist in 2022-23. Currently, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, she serves as an expert in the work of a subgroup at the European Commission to develop a common educational framework for the profession of physiotherapist.
She participated in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, is a World Cup medalist in rowing, and a multiple Polish champion.
Newly elected Vice President Agnieszka Krawętkowska is a member of the NCF, coordinator of the KIF in the Warmian-Masurian province. She is an academic lecturer at the Olsztyn University of Science and Technology.
She completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn in the field of public procurement law. She holds a double master's degree and an engineering degree. She earned a master's degree in physiotherapy from Olsztyn University. She graduated from the Faculty of Water Protection and Inland Fisheries at the Academy of Agriculture and Technology in Olsztyn with a degree in water protection.
Since 2016, she has been working at the Regional Specialized Children's Hospital in Olsztyn. She is an NDT Bobath and NDT Bobath Baby therapist, Sensory Integration therapist and diagnostician. She is active in the Social Council at the Provincial Specialized Children's Hospital in Olsztyn and the Social and Economic Advisory Board at the Olsztyn University.
