During the two-day congress (May 15-16) held in Warsaw, by a decision of the delegates, the authorities of the bodies of the Supreme Chamber of Nurses and Midwives were elected.

President Zofia Malas, as announced, did not run in the elections. The candidates were Vice President of the NRPiP Mariola Łodzińska and Chairwoman of the Supreme Audit Committee Kamilla Gólcz.

Local government elections have been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. In the case of the self-government of physicians, physiotherapists or laboratory diagnosticians, the elections brought big changes. The situation was different for the self-government of nurses and midwives. Here there were no surprises. The election was won by Mariola Lodzinska, with 284 votes. Kamila Gólcz received 85 votes.

Małgorzata Sobania became the chairman of the Supreme Audit Committee of the 8th term.
