MZ: The key laws will be passed

Niedzielski was a guest of RMF FM radio on Monday. He presented the ministry's plans for the coming weeks, which can be summarized briefly: after weeks (months?) Of no progress in the government's work on health bills, a breakthrough is to come. First, on the Hospitality Act. Niedzielski stated that he did not know where the rumors came from that it could be ineffective (Andrzej Sośnierz, for example, spoke about such a possibility at the end of last week). On the contrary - its enactment is obvious, because the act is a milestone entered in the National Reconstruction Program. - The act is still a milestone, which is to be passed by September. We are after public consultations, during which there was a lot of discussion and debate, because it is indeed an act of absolutely fundamental importance - said Niedzielski.
The minister reminded that one of the findings is to postpone the assessment of hospitals to 2024. In 2023, a pilot will take place - over a dozen selected facilities will be assessed.
Adam Niedzielski also revealed that there is progress in the work on the quality act. - There is a compromise on the no-fault system.
The provisions regarding the no-fault system have so far been the cause of a dispute with the Ministry of Justice, which effectively blocked the progress of work on the project. Adam Niedzielski announced that he had reached a compromise with Minister Zbigniew Ziobro. What it is about, the public is to find out soon, but Niedzielski already reserves that the government's proposal will not be the same as the postulates of the medical community - during the last National Congress of Doctors, the expectation that a system would be introduced in Poland would allow refraining from adjudicating on fault in the event of faults committed without fault - and the possibility of registering and reporting them will contribute to increasing the level of safety of patients (who at the same time, in the no-fault procedure, would be able to obtain fair compensation without having to go on the road forensic).
