The pilot of the National Oncology Network has been extended
Published Dec. 20, 2022 10:56
Pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of December 13, 2018 on the pilot program of care for the beneficiary within the oncological network, the pilot of the oncological network ends on December 31, 2022. The extension of the pilot completion date is necessary to ensure the continuity of the pilot in voivodeships included in the pilot program until the entry into force of the draft act on the National Oncology Network, the purpose of which is to introduce solutions tested under the pilot program throughout the country.
The draft regulation sets the end date for the pilot as March 31, 2023 for all centers participating in the pilot. Bearing in mind that the target system changes that will be introduced pursuant to the Act on the National Oncology Network referred to in point 1 of the RIA, were developed on the basis of the experience from the pilot program, it is therefore reasonable to maintain the continuity of the pilot model in the voivodships covered by the pilot. Extending the pilot completion date will ensure the continuity of comprehensive care for oncological patients.
