– There are certain conditions of the European Union regarding education and mobility, so studying on general terms cannot be related to loyalty solutions. However, we are thinking about a scholarship system that would help in studying and would be an obligation to work for some time in public health care - said Adam Niedzielski.
One of the ways to solve the problems with staff shortages among doctors is to increase the admission limits for medical studies. As a result, more and more universities, including non-medical ones, are applying for permission to launch such a course. As a result, there are concerns about the quality of education.
– The level of education will absolutely not drop, because each of these universities must meet certain prerequisites to start educating doctors at all. Secondly, the emphasis on quality in recent years has been much greater than before - assured the head of the Ministry of Health in an interview.
Adam Niedzielski was also asked about the progress of work on the act on the National Oncology Network. This legal act has not yet been voted on, and in the meantime the KSO pilot is to be closed by the end of the year.
– This is not a solution that can be prepared in five minutes, it is a very comprehensive solution. We are under the assumption that we will smoothly transition from a pilot project to a systemic solution. The draft act that we have prepared finalizes the government's path in terms of legislation and will be considered at the Council of Ministers by the end of November. This is not a legal act that will arouse political controversy, said the minister.
