From the beginning of the next academic year, the Catholic University of Lublin will lead the field of medicine. It is still unknown where the university's clinical hospital will be located. The university authorities asked the Marshal of the Lublin Province, Jarosław Stawiarski, for help in obtaining a location. This indicated the buildings currently used by the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Lublin.

The selected locations where the KUL clinical hospital would operate are the buildings at 21 Herberta Street and 81-83 Lubartowska Street in Lublin. Their value is being assessed and the equipment included in the equipment is valued.

- The launch of the KUL clinical hospital is a step towards the expectations of the community of Lublin and the entire Lublin Province, in the service of patients and the sick, and this is due to the mission of our university resulting from the social teaching of the Catholic Church. We want to provide access to high-class specialists and modern medical equipment, appropriate hospitalization conditions, bearing in mind that the center of our activities is people - informs Fr. prof. Mirosław Kalinowski, rector of the university.

The KUL clinical hospital is to cooperate with from the Medical College of Wisconsin in the USA, as well as the Gemelli Polyclinic and the University of "La Sapienza" in Rome. The university plans to recruit 60 students in the first year of teaching medicine. Ultimately, this number is to be increased, and the university's offer will be expanded to include an English-language course.
