Prof. Mansur Rahnama has already served on the RDN in his first term, which ends this year. In an interview with Medexpress in July, he stressed that the council plays a key role in maintaining and raising the quality standards of medical research.
- Members are actively involved in the process of reviewing and evaluating applications for degrees and professorships, which has a direct impact on the formation of the medical research workforce. The Council for Scientific Excellence also contributes to promoting and rewarding excellence in research, which stimulates innovation and progress in the medical field. Finally, through its activities, the RDN has an impact on the shaping of scientific policy in Poland, which includes the medical sector, he said.
The Council for Scientific Excellence is a central government administrative body established by the Law of July 20, 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science. The RDN was established in place of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles.
