According to the Ministry of Health, among others, an appeal by patient organizations to amend the regulations on the functioning of the emergency access to drug technology (RDTL) mechanism. Members of the Council recognized the need to discuss the topics raised by patient organizations in the above-mentioned appeal.
The Medical Fund Council also initiated a discussion on the legitimacy and possibility of introducing a change in the Medical Fund Act to ensure access to guaranteed services related to genetic diagnostics for adults (the amendment to the act currently being processed introduces the possibility of financing genetic diagnostics for persons under 18 from the Fund). ). As part of further work, analyzes are to be carried out to estimate the target group of patients, as well as the possible costs of introducing the discussed change.
The above issues will be discussed by the Council at subsequent meetings. The next meeting is planned for December this year
