A tragic fire occurred last night (26/27.12.) in the Voivodship Complex of Healthcare Centers of the Center for the Treatment of Lung Diseases and Rehabilitation in Łódź. According to polsatnews.pl, one person died and two were injured.

From the information provided to Polsat TV by young captain Łukasz Górczyński, press officer of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Łódź, shows that the application was received by the services after midnight. There was a fire in one of the rooms. The cause was most likely caused by a cigarette fire. Firefighters found the charred body of a 70-year-old man inside the room.
As a result of the fire, two people from the hospital staff were injured. 40 people were evacuated in the hospital.
