A new modernized gynecological ward is now in operation at the E. Szczeklik Specialized Hospital in Tarnow. The investment cost nearly PLN 3.4 million and was made entirely from the hospital's own funds.

Patients will be housed in air-conditioned rooms. Seven rooms have been equipped with electric beds. For women with conditions of the reproductive organs, more than a dozen places have been prepared in the ward.
"The new location means more possibilities. With a state-of-the-art procedure room, it will be possible to perform small procedures on site. We will also provide full monitoring after those that can only be carried out in the operating theater," the hospital's website reads.
The departments of gynecology, obstetrics, pregnancy pathology, neonatology and the birthing block are now located in one building, on three floors.
