A ministerial team will deal with the standards of training for physiotherapists

The team consists of:
1) Chairman - Joanna Święchowicz-Kijowska, head of the Department of Education in Medical Professions at the Department of Medical Personnel Development at the Ministry of Health;
2) Deputy chairman - dr hab. n. about health Elżbieta Skorupska, Medical University of Karol Marcinkowski in Poznań;
3) Deputy chairman - Katarzyna Gierat-Haponiuk, MD, PhD, Medical University of Gdańsk;
4) members:
a) a representative of the Department of Medical Personnel Development in the Ministry of Health,
b) a representative of the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education and Science,
c) national consultant in the field of physiotherapy,
d) a representative of the National Council of Physiotherapists,
e) representative of the Polish Society of Physiotherapy,
f) representative of the Polish Physiotherapy Association,
g) representative of the Polish Association of Physiotherapy Specialists,
h) a representative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Universities,
i) a representative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland,
j) a representative of the Conference of Rectors of the Academy of Physical Education,
k) a representative of the Higher Medical Education Committee of the Students' Parliament of the Republic of Poland;
5) Secretary - dr hab. n. about health Małgorzata Domagalska-Szopa, Medical University of Silesia in Katowice
The task of the Team is to develop an evaluation of the standard of education preparing for the profession of a physiotherapist, referred to in the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of July 26, 2019 on the standards of education preparing for the profession of a doctor, dentist, pharmacist, nurse, midwife, laboratory diagnostician, physiotherapist and paramedic (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 755 and of 2022, item 157).
