Prof. Mansur Rahnama has again become chairman of the Council for Academic Degrees in the discipline of medical sciences at the Medical University of Lublin. He will hold the post until 2027.

Professor Mansur Rahnama-Hezavah is the head of the Department of Dental Surgery at the Medical University of Lublin, as well as a national consultant in the field of dental surgery. In June, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Rzeszow.
Prof. Mansur Rahnama is a candidate for member of the Council for Scientific Excellence II term (for 2024 - 2027). He is currently a member of the Council for Scientific Excellence for the first term. In a July interview with Medexpress, he stressed that the council plays a key role in maintaining and improving the quality standards of medical research.
- Members are actively involved in the process of reviewing and evaluating applications for academic degrees and professorships, which has a direct impact on the formation of the medical research workforce. The Council for Scientific Excellence also contributes to promoting and rewarding excellence in research, which stimulates innovation and progress in the medical field. Finally, through its activities, the RDN influences the formation of scientific policy in Poland, which includes the medical sector. All of this is aimed at improving the quality of health care and the health of society in the long term," he said in an interview with our portal.
