There are legends about how they feed in Polish doctors, and anyone who hasn't seen memes of meals in hospitals hands up. According to patients, hospital food is often unpalatable, cold, unappetizing and there is not enough of it. This is because hospitals save money precisely on food. Patients have to rely on the help of relatives for this. The United Right has decided to change this and has made the progaam program "Good Meal" the second concrete of the Law and Justice Party.
- Health is the most important thing, which is why we have significantly increased funding for health care, introduced digital prescriptions, and are improving accessibility to health care, but health is also about being well fed during treatment, says Health Minister Katarzyna Sójka in a spot on X (formerly Twitter). She adds that the day-to-day reality of hospitals is not unfamiliar to her, especially county hospitals. - Patients are often not satisfied with the quality of meals served there. We need to change this. We are familiar with this problem. In recent years we have introduced a pilot program of good diet for patients. It brought excellent results. That's why we are introducing our new program "Good Meal" for all patients of Polish hospitals," she said. The program is not only access to a tasty healthy diet, but also the possibility of advice from a nutritionist. Minister K.Sójka announced that hospitals will get additional funds for this purpose, and the NFZ will make sure that the quality of food is significantly better.
- A high standard of nutrition means faster recovery. Only the Law and Justice government will implement this ambitious project," assures Min. Jayka.
Will this convince voters?
