The President of the Medical Research Agency, Radoslaw Sierpinski, MD, has approved the ranking list containing the results of the Head-to-Head Competition for non-commercial clinical trials or research experiments.

Due to the very high interest in the competition and the number of clinical research projects and research experiments submitted in the competition that provide an opportunity to improve the situation of patients in Poland by increasing the availability of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, the Agency's president decided to raise the original allocation by more than PLN 200 million.

On the basis of the ranking list drawn up as a result of the competition procedure , 27 projects were recommended for funding in the Competition, for which the total amount of funding is PLN 328,883,813.11.

The call for applications in the competition ran from July 11, 2022 to October 20, 2022. The Competition received 50 applications with a total project value of PLN 572,204,048.79. Forty-nine applications were submitted for substantive evaluation.
