"DEKALOG - the future of research institutes in Poland".

- Research institutes are not about history, but first and foremost about the future," Prof. Henryk Skarzynski, chairman of the Council of the Main Council of Research Institutes, said at the 30th anniversary celebration. From this perspective, he stressed the importance of institutes as one of the driving forces behind the development of science in Poland.

One year after the beginning of the current term of the RGIB, representatives of the constituent institutes from various organizational units have prepared, out of concern for the future of science in Poland and Polish researchers, a document entitled "Decalogue - the future of research institutes in Poland."

It will be presented for the first time at the Science for Society Congress (science-for-society.pl), taking place June 3-5.

The document is intended to support the further development of science in Poland, contribute to increasing our country's international research competitiveness, and emphasize the appropriate use of research potential for the benefit of society. It is the result of extensive consultation and analysis, based on the knowledge and experience of both representatives of research institutes and other scientific units.
