The Polish Mother's Memorial Hospital - Research Institute in Łódź (ICZMP) fell victim to a cyberattack. Patients must take into account the difficulties in handling, as the clinic authorities have decided to temporarily disable IT systems. “We are conducting intensive activities that are to lead to their full launch as soon as possible. The entire ITC team participates in these activities with the support of the Ministry of Health, e-Health Center and NASK, ”reads the statement published on the Facebook profile of the ICZMP. At the same time, the management ensures that the hospital is constantly trying to provide standard patient service using traditional documentation.
- This autumn, unlike the autumn we remember from previous years, will be rather calm. The risk of another wave will appear only at the turn of the year, predicts the Minister of Health, Adam Niedzielski. The head of the Ministry of Health recalled that the average number of infections per day remains below a thousand. - Our forecasts, in which we said that the wave would be extinguished and that the risk of another wave would not appear until the turn of the year, have come true - added the minister.
The very low number of vaccinations with the second booster with the use of a preparation protecting against the Omikron variant is disturbing. - At present, slightly over 700,000 people are vaccinated with the BA.1 or BA.4/5 vaccine. This is very little, because the total number of people who took up the second booster in Poland is 2.5 million - added Adam Niedzielski.
The Journal of Laws of the Ministry of Health published the Notice of the Minister of Health of November 3, 2022 on the recommendations for the care of students with anaphylaxis, bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis and urticaria at school. Pursuant to the announcement, care for a chronically ill or disabled student at school is provided by the nurse of the teaching and education environment or the school hygienist in cooperation with the primary health care physician, parents, adult students as well as the school headmaster and employees. Administration of drugs during the student's stay at school by school staff may take place only with their written consent and on the basis of authorization by the parent.
