- In our opinion, the pay scale proposed in the amendment the act on the method of determining the lowest basic salary of certain employees working in healthcare entities introduces too large differences in wages.
- We take actions to eliminate such large disproportions in earnings while maintaining the career path.
- With such a deficit of specialists on the labor market, the salaries of nurses and midwives should not be lower than the salaries of non-medical workers.
- Salaries of medical professionals, including nurses and midwives, should be based on qualifications and experience. The provisions of the amended act open the door for employers to non-recognition of these qualifications and to lower the salaries of employees.
- To ensure that wages actually increase, resources allocated to healthcare providers should be segregated and specifically dedicated to benefits and wages.
