New magnetic resonance imaging in the hospital in Szaserów

The Central Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of National Defense at Szaserów Street in Warsaw has a new magnetic resonance system. The device with a field power of 1.5 Tesla is to work in the Magnetic Resonance Laboratory of the Medical Radiology Department.

- The camera will allow us to study various organs of the human body in various diseases. It will enable the accurate diagnosis of the full spectrum of diseases of the central nervous system, cardiovascular and neurological diseases - said Dr. n. med. Artur Maliborski, head of the Department of Medical Radiology.
Gen. prof. dr hab. n. med. Grzegorz Gielerak, director of the Military Institute of Medicine, explained that the equipment is distinguished by high imaging precision and less susceptibility to distortions if the patient moves during the examination.
