On May 27-29, the 2nd National Congress of Physiotherapists took place. 332 delegates elected in May and June 2021 in elections held in all voivodeships participated in the deliberations.

Tomasz Dybek became the new president of the KRF with the advantage of one vote, defeating the current president Maciej Krawczyk.

The National Chamber of Physiotherapists (KIF) is a professional self-government, associating all Polish physiotherapists with the right to practice. To obtain the right to practice the profession of a physiotherapist, you must meet the formal criteria specified in the Act of 25 September 2015 on the profession of a physiotherapist (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 505, as amended).
The main tasks of KIF are to represent persons practicing the profession of physiotherapist and to supervise the proper performance of this profession within the limits of the public interest and for its protection.
The professional self-government of physical therapists has over 72,000 members. It associates physiotherapists with a professional title in the degree of master, bachelor and technician. KIF members are both physiotherapists practicing in entities bound by a contract with the National Health Fund, and outside the guaranteed benefits system.
KIF maintains the National Register of Physiotherapists, which is available to all interested persons in terms of name, surname, academic degree and academic title, as well as the name of the employer, including information on the status of professional activity.
