The Koszalin Regional Hospital has adopted an unusual strategy in its fight against staff shortages. The city will provide housing to all those who choose to work there.

Deputy Director for Medical Affairs at the Koszalin Regional Hospital Rajmund Rajewski and Koszalin Mayor Piotr Jedliński signed an agreement to provide housing from the resources of the Koszalin Social Housing Association for doctors who wish to work at our Hospital. This is primarily about neurologists, but also about doctors with other specializations most in short supply for the hospital, i.e. internal medicine, anesthesiology and intensive care, and neonatology.

The agreement provides newly hired doctors with priority in the allocation of housing from KTBS resources. Allocation will depend on the turnover of KTBS apartments and the size of the expected apartment. The agreement between the parties will be signed for a fixed period, i.e. for the duration of the agreement or contract between the doctor and the Hospital. The city has pledged to make up to five apartments available to doctors annually.

The hospital is urgently looking for specialists in neurology, as well as doctors who want to specialize in neurology in a residency or non-residency mode.
